Whenever I create pieces on black paper, it’s difficult to not think of space. The geometry of this piece made me think of the complex geometry behind black holes. It’s a fanciful conceit, I know. A real black hole would be utter blackness. This piece was one of the first I’ve done using this particular technique of line work based on connecting curving points.
