Permutation no. 1041

$100.00

This is the third iteration of a composition that I first explored as a collage Permutation when I was living in Vietnam several years ago. That original design is available as a t-shirt (and other items). I looked through my collage materials for a small image of a person carrying an umbrella in order to create another version, but I couldn’t find one, so I decided I should just paint one, and here we are. The character in the composition is a small child in a red raincoat with yellow boots and umbrella. The Permutation shape is falling apart and the character playfully kicks the fallen “lines” like splashing in a puddle.
