Another in a series of Permutations on found paper. This piece was created on a page from Introduccion a la Fisica II, published in 1978 in Bogota Columbia. As I’ve moved from city to city and traveled all over the world, I always make an effort to find vintage books and magazines for creating works like this. I feel like they connect my work not only with the concepts of the artifacts, but also the times and places. The subject matter of this particular page is about polarization of light.
